Permeability and Mass Exchange in Fractured Heterogeneous Media at Different Scales

Résumé

Permeability and mass exchange in fractured heterogeneous media at different scales. Introduction 1 We consider a fractured reservoir image that is obtained through an integration of outcrop information seismic data and eventually dynamic data such as well test interpretation. We suppose that we have an exhaustive information at the fine grid and our goal is to estimate the fluid flow parameters like permeability and fracture/matrix exchange coefficient at different larger scales. Two strategies are possible. A first strategy consists in calculating the largescale equivalent properties in one upscaling step starting with a single continuum flow model at the local
