Device for conversion of electric energy
Résumé
The converter has a source of potential (VE) and a source of current (SC). Each output is associated with a cell containing a capacitor (C). Control of the converter is performed by determining the error between the measured current in the current source and a reference current (Iref). In response, the current in all of the cells is modified. The current in each cell is controlled by control of switches in each cell to produce pulse modulated control of the current in each cell. The timing of the switching in each cell is offset from the switching in other cells to prevent transient surges.
