Résumé

A two-scale approach is proposed to identify constitutive parameters from digital image correlation (DIC). The choice of spatial resolution of the pair of digital images is often constrained by experimental considerations. It may sometimes lead to large uncertainties, which may reduce identification accuracy. In this work, we propose an experimental strategy to combine images taken at different scales (and therefore with different resolutions), to overcome the above limitation. The proposed method is illustrated on an open-hole tensile test.
