The Toulouse Mathematics Institute (IMT), created in 2007, federates the mathematics community of the Toulouse area. The IMT is a Joint Research Unit (UMR) of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), the Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse3 (UT3), the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées of Toulouse (INSA), the Université Toulouse1 Capitole (UT1) and the Université de Toulouse Jean Jaurès (UT2J). We have over 120 Undergraduates, 30 doctoral postgraduate students, and over 240 academic staff studying and working across all fields of mathematics. Research is focused both on fundamental mathematics and statistics and on applications in other sciences. The HAL -IMT collection holds most of the Institute's publications since 2007.
